An academic course of National Center for Nanoscience and Technology was held on December of 2017 and January of 2018 in 4 sessions by title of “Principle of Biochemistry Nanomedicine”. This course was opened for all international and Chinese students. Around 20 students took part in the course.

The course topics were involved at giving the basis about the design of hydrogels and targeted nanoparticles and their biological interactions. The course also described the homeostatic and pathologic roles of exosomes and their use as diagnostic and therapeutic tools.

Professor Massimo Bottini conducted this class. He is an Associate Professor at Department of Experimental Medicine and Surgery, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy and also Affiliate Associate Professor Infectious and Inflammatory Diseases Research Center, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, La Jolla, CA, USA.

This course made a good situation for international and Chinese students to have more cooperation and interactions. The teaching style is very attractive.

Here are some comments from the students who selected the course this semester:

1. This class is very informative and conceptive.

2. I really enjoyed it;

3. The course was Lecturer based and free discussion in the class;

4. Learning Latin Words and Life from Prof;

5. The course is based on the advanced research area of bio nano-medicine, and is impressively taught by a professional academician. It made the students able to think logically how to solve certain problem, to emphasis on different areas of current research, especially in conjunction with bio nano-medicine apart from their routine lab established research.
being an attendee of this course, In my opinion the Professor have an impressive methodology of teaching, whom also helped us to improve the communications with researcher's from different areas. I really appreciate the Professor, the Teaching assistant, and the NCNST for arranging this meaningful course and hopefully will be the participant of such events in future.

6. For students in other than Biochemistry background working in Nano centre have obtained a good knowledge about medicinal chemistry. Overall it was very informative

7. The course was very well designed and the teaching methodology was very inspiring. Learned many new things.

We really hope that more courses like this kind in different fields can be held in the near future.
